Youth Member Only Hunts*

With the continuing addition of youth members to our group, the Board of Directors feels that we need to insure participation of our youth. In order to achieve this, we will continue to offer subsidies to the youth that are participating in programs of the chapter.

As a means to this end, we are going to require that each youth who wants to participate in a subsidized activity, participate in one or more of the listed chapter activities:

1 – Regular Habitat Projects

2 – Youth Habitat Projects

3 – Snake Avoidance Clinic

4 – Assist at a DFG Game Bird Heritage Hunt

5 – Assist at the QU Sporting Clays Shoot

6 – Sign up a new member

7 – Assist at a Hunter Safety Class

8 – Assist at the Safari Club Youth Day

9 – Covey Camp Counselor-if selected

Others may be added at the discretion of Board

By participating in the required activities, the youth member will have several options for subsidy:

1 – Round Robin Trap Team entry fee and shells (one activity for one Round Robin)

2 – Banquet Ticket

If the youth member participates in a minimum of eight activities they will be eligible for both subsidies. If the youth does not participate in Round Robin, then they may choose a Club Youth Hunt at Van Dam Ranch as their subsidy, after 4 events.

Covey Camp eligibility will be based on participation in the above activities.
